Bachata is a genre of Latin dance and music that originated in the Dominican Republic. It's known for its passionate and romantic movements, characterized by close connections between dance partners.

No, you don't need to bring a dance partner to our classes. We encourage both singles and couples to attend. We often rotate partners during class to help you practice and connect with different dancers, but you're welcome to stay with your partner if you prefer. 

We offer different levels, from Absolute Beginner to Advanced. Check our Find Your Level guide for a more detailed description, compare each class and choose the one that best matches your experience, confidence, and goals.

Yes, at Bachata Denver, we celebrate each dancer's uniqueness. Our private lessons are tailored to your pace and style. With dedicated instructors, receive personalized feedback, sharpen your moves, and build dance floor confidence. Our scheduling is flexible and our coaching, focused. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. For footwear, choose dance shoes, dance heels, sneakers, or any clean, non-marking shoes. To participate in our classes, we welcome dancers aged 16 and above. We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive dance community, and we're excited to welcome dancers of all ages to join us on the dance floor!

No, you do not need to book in advance to join a class! While we encourage pre-registration to secure your spot, we also welcome walk-ins. Just come to the studio a few minutes before the class starts, and we'll be happy to assist you with registration on the spot. We look forward to dancing with you!

In Bachata Denver our main focus is Modern and Sensual Bachata, including partnerwork, footwork, lady styling and musicality classes. You can choose the style that interests you the most or explore all of them through our diverse class offerings. 

Yes, we are currently offering Salsa group and private lessons! Salsa is a vibrant and popular dance style, and we’re excited to help you learn and enjoy this energetic dance through personalized instruction.

Our private lessons are perfect for all level, from complete beginners to experienced dancers looking to refine their technique, improve timing, or learn new combinations. With one-on-one guidance, you’ll be able to progress at your own pace and focus on the skills that matter most to you.

No, you don't have to wait until the next cycle to join our Progressive classes. We understand that dancers have varying levels of experience and may want to start at different times. Our Progressive classes are designed to accommodate students at different stages of their dance journey.

You can typically join our Progressive classes at the beginning of each new session or cycle, and if you have prior dance experience, you may be able to start at an appropriate level that matches your skills.
